And today, we shared the news of two incredible leaders joining the top ranks of the company.

Carl Hekkert, Chief Financial Officer - Customer Success, Zeni


Carl Hekkert has joined Zeni as Chief Financial Officer of Customer Success. He brings decades of experience in financial leadership roles across Silicon Valley to Zeni. In his most recent post, Carl served as Head of Finance for SymphonyAI where he provided finance leadership across a portfolio of AI companies in the retail, industrial, media and financial services sectors.


Carl recognizes the need for many of Zeni’s clients to reach a higher state of awareness to financial acumen without the need to hire an in-house finance team. In his new role as CFO - Customer Success, Carl’s primary objective is to drive client success by developing a world-class controllership team at Zeni. 


He will use his expertise in leadership to develop a ‘Culture of Zen’ for the Finance function. This concept includes a proactive view to daily maintenance of financial processes with continuous visibility to key growth drivers for venture-backed startups. He will work closely with the Zeni development team to leverage leading financial applications and integrations to Zeni’s best-in-class dashboard, and seek to drive customer value by leveraging Zeni’s AI platform and Zeni’s deep bench strength in accounting and finance operations. 

Collin Cadmus, Chief Revenue Officer, Zeni

Collin Cadmus has joined Zeni as Chief Revenue Officer. Collin is a veteran SaaS sales leader who has hired and trained over 300 B2B salespeople, generating over $50M in recurring revenue and over $300M in exits. He most recently served as a consultant and advisor to a suite of leading businesses including Avoma, Spiff Inc, CoSell, Dasha, and preHIRED.


Collin will oversee sales, marketing and revenue operations with a goal of designing a customer experience that aligns with the needs and wants of the modern buyer. His primary objective is to drive the growth of Zeni through new, innovative approaches to sales and marketing, and he is responsible for building an organization where all revenue-generating functions of the business are aligned and seamlessly integrated.

The Revenue Team at Zeni will break down traditional norms, org charts, and roles, and completely rethink the way we bring our products to market, and fulfill services for our customers. The Revenue Team Mission is, “To drive Zeni’s growth through brand, content, and community; while putting the prospect, buyer, and customer experience at the forefront of everything we say and do.”

This means every decision we make, every brainstorm we have, is driven by the prospect and customer experience first-- not by profitability, scalability, or efficiency-- those are factored in secondary, which is precisely the detail that enables Zeni to serve our prospects and customers in ways no other solution can do.
