Content Marketing Writer

Zeni is on a mission to build the world's most advanced CFO-As-A-Service platform, built from the ground up using AI and ML. Built by the founders of Mezi, an AI-powered Travel-As-A-Service platform, you'll be working with a team that has spent the last five years building and scaling one of the most successful human-assisted AI platforms.

What we're looking for

Zeni is growing its marketing team and is looking for an exceptional Content Marketing Writer to join us full-time. The Content Marketing Writer will work closely alongside the Content Marketing Manager to educate our target customer about Zeni, what we are solving for and establish a voice and thought leadership profile for our executives. You may be a good fit if you enjoy writing clear and engaging content, are able to distill complex ideas into user-friendly content, and are able to produce high-quality writing in a fast-paced environment.

Zeni provides startups with a fast, reliable, full-service AI-powered bookkeeping and accounting solution so they can optimize their business daily. With Zeni, startups have access to real-time financial insights via their Zeni Dashboard, and a team of finance experts to manage their every finance function for a flat monthly fee — daily bookkeeping, yearly taxes, bill pay and invoicing, financial projections, budgeting, payroll administration, and more.

Zeni has a growing and talented team across the U.S. and India. To-date, our business growth is 100% attributed to organic channels, and we’re investing in our growth with strategic hires across marketing, sales, and customer success in 2022 and beyond. Zeni is a Series B SaaS fintech backed by leading tech investors, founded in 2019 by twin brothers and serial entrepreneurs Swapnil Shinde and Snehal Shinde.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, writing and editing multiple blogs per week. 
  • Create copy for various other marketing collateral, including case studies, ebooks and whitepapers.
  • Support writing copy for social media channels — LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.
  • Contribute to an editorial calendar by continuously generating new content ideas and finding interesting ways to reach our prospective customers. 
  • Execute on basic SEO guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop a keen awareness of Zeni’s voice, tone, and style guides to ensure brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of writing and editing experience in a marketing environment
  • A portfolio of relevant content samples (required) 
  • Excellent overall writing skills for both short-form and long-form content, including for both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and articulate them back to our audience in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner
  • Comfortable working and researching topics autonomously 
  • Exceptional grammar and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in an organized manner to meet deadlines

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience working in-house at an early-stage SaaS startup
  • Experience or working knowledge of startup finances, accounting, bookkeeping, FinTech or related fields
